About the Track:
A few months back my buddy Dave (VRT_RIDEBLUE) asked me if I could make a track for his upcoming Supercross/Motocross Summer series. I said “Sure!” since I had enough time to put something together. I asked if he had any disp maps around that he hadn’t used yet because I wasn’t really into starting one from scratch.

Dave provided me with a really good map and in it’s original form would have been a great track all on it’s own…but I wanted to give it that “MCMnut” feel in more ways than just textures. On that idea I went and starting tweaking the disp map here and there. Some of the changes include:

* Downhill start with drop off after the gate and rockers leading into the first turn.
* Rhythm section straight-away traversing over two large mounds.
* Reshaped first turn and junction with finish line table.
* Reshaped and smoothed all berms and edges.

From there I started my typical texturing and rendering. I think it came out pretty good. Last but certainly not least, I called on my buddy Jesse (JMS) and asked him to make another one of those tremendous game pics. Since he has done every game pic for me since I started Twisted DIRT, it just seemed like tradition. Once again he came through in style! Thanks Jesse!

** NOTE: This a Supercross without the stadium so you need to turn your Sky ON before you start racing. **
