About This Site

Everything below was used to make this site either work, or at the very least, much more functional. Most of the plugins were easy to implement, and highly configurable. Major thanks to everybody behind the code for WordPress, and the plugins listed below.

  • WordPress
  • • WordPress is the CMS (and so much more) that made this site possible.
    • Follow this link to find WordPress, and all of the information you’ll need to run it.

  • LightBox Plus plugin
  • • This plugin is what drives the full-size popup images from the thumbnails on this site.
    • Lightbox Plus added in the functionality of seeing all of the images on a single page in a clickable slideshow – Bonus!

  • Page Tagger plugin
  • • This plugin is what made the Quick Search possible in the menu above.
    • This was accomplished by allowing WordPress to tag pages in the same way it tags posts.
    • Major Thanks to “randomaniac” for his Page Tagger, couldn’t have done it without this plugin.

  • Sliding Read More plugin
  • • After great amounts of frustration trying to get the WordPress “More” tag to work, this plugin came to the rescue.
    • This plugin is what keeps the (often lengthy) Creators Comments out of view on the track pages until you click the [+]more to expand them.
    • Major thanks to BlueLayerMedia and their jquery work – these guys are good!! Probably the easiest fix I’ve seen yet, minus the week of browsing forums for a coding solution.

  • WP-reCAPTCHA plugin
  • • This plugin added the security needed to allow comments to be posted on track pages without requiring a login to this site.
    • Thanks to BlaenkDenum for this ingenious solution that solves two societal problems at the same time.
    • Clearly it’s good stuff, Google bought them (him?) out

  • Theme My Login plugin
  • • This plugin is what made the custom login and error pages (including 404 errors) match this site’s theme.

  • WP-Download Counter plugin
  • • This plugin added the functionality of being able to count and show the count for track downloads from this site from both, internal, and external links.
    • Should note that adding the trackable files to the database took four hours longer than anticipated – horrible UI.
    • All love/hate to “r-win” for making a great solution, but with a night-marish UI.
