Well this is the first track that I had ever created. My friends loved it and told me that I should make more. So I set off to design the whole SX series. What a chore! I hope that you have downloaded the other 8 tracks in the series and if you haven’t, please do so. I apologize about the MCM2Racing.com website. The response was overwhelming and we’re sorry to let you down. Time just became too scarce. I’d like to thank AUS_Twisted for all of the help that he gave me on this track. He did the awesome textures and was a great help in offering ideas to make the track more realistic and play better. Damn him for all those changes and having to redo the spline which took forever….hehe….but he really knows his racing! I’d also like to thank ‘ the Machein ‘ for the very first e-mail that let me know that I was on to something. He gave me encouragement and still does everytime we talk. He was responsible for getting me in the ZONE at the right time to make my dreams come true. Both of these guys are class acts and have earned my utmost respect. Well onto the track and I hope you like it!

DIZ_Round10StLouis ( A WALK AROUND THE TRACK )

The gate drops and your neck snaps as you shift through the gears on your factory ride. You reach 6th gear tapped and you grab for more down the long starting straight and into a set of left handed corners. Top speed now, the riders must drag the brakes through the LONG set of whoops and over the ending double, into the left handed double berm. Outside can loft you over the table top, landing on the 3ft bump, while inside you can power out and over. Once back on ground level, riders must squeeze every ounce of power out of their bikes to clear the next triple and land on it’s steep and tricky down ramp, sending them into SX’s first and only ‘inside raised berm’. This berm can be railed through the middle/outside, or slowly negotiated inside, by weighting the outside peg and rolling off the gas. Now the riders are headed back down the starting straight, ripping through the gears again to get the best position for the upcoming speed double. Reminiscent of Atlanta, the riders must do some heavy braking to slow their machines almost to a halt, and hop the double into the left handed berm. ( Watch out for the hidden mogul inside. ) Throttle control is important to gas onto the next table shelf and brake up the steep triple take-off, to keep your bike from punching a whole in the ozone. Landing from the triple, you can setup on the worn inside or the steeper outside of the next jump combo, and drop into the left handed double berm. Exiting this berm, riders are faced with the most unrhythmic section so far! Into a right handed double berm at the end of this section and a sprint for the finish, sending you up and over the stair jump, 3ft jump, and ramp to the finish table top. Down the table top landing you hop onto the raised berm, smooth left and jump into a set of evenly spaced 3ft kickers. This next left handed berm sends the riders over the back of one of the starting berms and back onto the long whoop section.

I’m tired just walking it! Now put 20 of the world’s best SX riders, out for blood, elbow to elbow on this track, and you have DIZ_Round10StLouis!

Tear it up guys and gals and please send comments, questions and suggestions to Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡@≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ.com

DIZ_Round8Atlanta

So many things have happened I can’t even begin to expalin them all. I really want the DIZ fans to enjoy these tracks, and if possible, finish the DIZ series as soon as I can. Thanks again for all of the support and if you have registered at MCM2Racing.com for our tournament, I’m sorry if things are running a little slow. It takes more time and effort than I had ever imagined and I’m not even doing the hard stuff. Credit must go to ‘ the Machein ‘ for ALL that has been doing on the site. He is truly a Machine to be able to juggle his career, family, and this web site so please bear with us. For my friends and contacts who know the great news that I have recently been blessed with, thanks for the input and you will not be forgotten. For those of you who don’t know my good news, I’m sorry. I wish I could tell you more but I promise to release as much info as possible, as soon as possible.

This track contains a little something for everyone. Once again, it is designed directly over the REAL track blueprint and was created to give the feel of the REAL SX in Atlanta. I only tweaked things that I thought was necessary to give the track multiple lines and play smooth and fun in the zone. I hope you enjoy it.

Now on to the track!

DIZ_Round8Atlanta ( A walk around the track )

The 5 second count expires and your rear knobbies throw roost all over everyone and everything. Climbing through the gears – 3rd gear – 4th gear – 5th gear – maybe even 6th, if you have it, only to jam on both brakes, pull a small nose wheelie and dive into the first left hand corner on your charge to the $1000 chalk line. Beware of the berm that has formed on the outside. A short 3ft double and a sweeping 180 turn to the right, make sure you exit the berm with precision. Outside keeps you low and fast, while inside might let you clear a better portion of the 4ft-6ft-4ft warped table top. A smooth 90 degree right hander and you rip down a long rythm section filled with new combos such as the 4ft double with a hump in the bottom, and the 3ft table top with a 5ft spine in the middle. Bouncing into the 180 right handed berm, you power out over two 2ft stutter bumps and into a steep, blunt faced triple that makes it hard to guage your landing as well as your line to either the worn left side or the steeper right side of the next combo. Dropping out of the combo into yet another 180 berm to the left, you’re back on the gas, climbing through the gears, drag racing backwards down the starting straight, only to have to shut her down hard. Killing your momentum, you hop over the 5ft to 6ft double and pray for a smooth landing. With enough power, you can rail the next 90 degree berm and hop over the gap to the triple take off, or play it safe with a short hop to the 5ft table top and throttle onto the ascending 4ft to 6ft table top, to clear this next odd-shaped triple. Roosting around the next 180 degree berm to the right, you skim through a set of deep SX whoops into your last 180 degree left handed berm. With your sites on the finish you blast over the 3ft-4ft-5ft triple and try to land in the grooved portion of the 2ft stutters and squeeze out the power as you charge to the finish line table top. Smelling the heat of your pipe and engine, you realize the toll that this demanding track has on your bike, and your body.

Welcome to the DIZ / EA Sports SX 2000 in Atlanta!

I would like to thank team Aus_ ( Rocket, Motocross, Twisted ), Twisted Dirt and everyone there ( Bruce, X_Kobra, etc. ), ‘ the Machein ‘, all Diz followers, Rainbow Studios, and many others to whom I appologize that I cannot get all of your names in here. Thanks for the support, help, encouragement, and suggestions. It makes me proud to work with such a great bunch of people.

Well Round7 Pontiac#1 is finally here! I’m sorry it so long. I’ve been busy creating tracks for a new website that ‘ the machien ‘ and I are working on. It will be called MCM2 RACING.com and should be up shortly. This site will include, when finished, all 16 of the EA Sports SX 2000 tracks designed by me – DIZ_No_Rebase. It will also include a forum for members to run the MCM2 RACING.com Tournament Series. You will be able to sign up, upload a few sets of gear for the season, and compete with some of the best on-line riders out there! We will keep track of the point standings and mirror the real SX series as close as possible. We are also working on an engine verifier to eliminate cheating. All tracks are currently being redone to include true funnel starts, improved textures, $1000 holeshot chalk lines and better game play ( smoother, wider tracks with a few less bales and more lines ). We’re shooting to have these tracks done by December to mid-New Year, depending on how fast I can learn textures and 3DStudio. ALL of the tracks so far have been created solely in Photoshop. I hope to add custom bridges to the races that require them and maybe some custom objects if time permits.

Until then, I hope that I can keep creating some fun tracks for you to play on and keep working away on the DIZ series. Please read future .txt files to stay informed of our progress. Please e-mail me with any positive suggestions or comments. – Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡@≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ≡Ξ.com -

Now on to the track!

DIZ / EA Sports SX 2000 Round7 Pontiac#1 ( A walk around the track )

The 5 second count down expires and you find yourself blasting down a long starting straight. If you’re lucky, you’ll avoid a pileup and reach the $1000 chalk line first. A short double and up the long incline to a tight, raised hairpin turn. Power out of it as you jump down the decline trying to set up for tricky right turn at the bottom. Throttle through a bouncy rythm section and set up for the upcoming berm. Your line coming out of this berm can determine a smooth or rough ride through the whoop section. Powering out of the whoops into the next berm, you find yourself hopping over a steep stair jump and sailing over the triples. Choose your lines carefully because the landing may force you wide. Now approaching the 3ft-4ft-5ft triple you may have an option to triple or ride the worn outside causing you to slam into the 4ft and bounce over. Back across the starting line and you hop onto the raised corner and take either the inside line which is worn down or the outside popping you up and hopefully over the next rythm section peak. Another large triple and you land into a double berm. Outside may keep your momentum but the inside has proved to be fast also. Either way, you’ll be approaching the finish table top where you gladly show off a bit and land with the gas on to charge the final berm for your next lap. The final berm contains a fast rail around the outside or a tight, power out berm on the inside with acceleration ruts from monster horsepower.

DIZ_2000USOpen of SX

Thanks for downloading and actually reading this. I hope that these readme files will add to your racing experience and give you some informative news as well. Our site, www.MCM2Racing.com, is finally up so go visit it and add us to your favorites. It will be a challenge to get it running smooth and fine tuning the tournaments, so please bear with us. ‘the Machine’ and I, ( DIZ_No_Rebase ) are working hard to get as much interesting stuff on the site as possible but still keep it within reason. I’m currently working on finishing the DIZ Series tracks as well as reworking some of the old ones with new textures and splines. ‘ the Machine ‘ is working on tuning the site to be informative, creative, and easy to use. Keep visiting the site to find out information about our first beta tournament and register now to get your assigned www.MCM2Racing.com bike number.

I felt like my name was starting to disappear from MCM2Central so I decided to release this track that I was practicing on. Hopefully this track will show you some of what I’ve learned. Although it doesn’t contain any user created objects, the textures are far better than the generic ones that I was using before. I also have tried to reduce the amount of objects that I was using to increase the frame rate for better ZONE play. I did not have a track layout for the USOpen so I watched it on TV and did the best I could. I drew my own blueprint and copied my jumps over the top. I think it came out great! From the ‘very hard to make’ funnel start, to the textures and displacement map, I gave it everything that I had! This track should be one that you’d pick if you knew you had to get up early, but just couldn’t resist a quick race before bed. Hope you enjoy!

Now on to the track!

DIZ_2000 USOpen of SX ( a walk around the track )

Tapping the throttle wide open and dropping the clutch, your propelled into a very tight left handed corner. Careful of the outside line, there are remnants of the adjacent berm to send your bike flying. Avoiding a first turn pile-up, you hop over the 4ft. double and over the short jump shelf. Fast left hander, STEEP 5ft double, and peg it around the smooth left towards the finish. Two worn 1ft stutter bumps and a loft up, and hopefully over, the finish line table top. Charging into the double-berm at the bottom, you pick your line cautiously, setting you in line to the rythm section. A short double, jump up to the table top, and an off camber corner section. Quick right hander, and a 2ft-3ft-4ft step jump. A quick left hander ( careful of the inside mogul) and into the base of the stadium where you catch a sharp kicker bump floating you into the hairpin double-berm. Blasting out of the berm down the last stretch, you hop over two sets of worn 2ft stutter bumps and into a stretch of deep SX whoops. Leaning back and gliding over the whoops, you set up for your final berm. Another double-berm hairpin to the right and a familiar section back to finish line. Your heart is pumping as fast as your forearms and you realize…..that’s just the first lap!

Welcome to the Las Vegas MGM Grand hotel and the 2000 USOpen of SX!

P.S. Keep in mind that since I haven’t mastered user created objects yet, I couldn’t get the ‘under the bleachers’ part, realistic. You’ll have to use your imagination. I could have created a cheesy, makeshift tunnel, but I think it’s best just to leave it the way it was. Also, I would like to thank everyone at Twisted Dirt for the immense help, as well as Aus_Twisted, RMR_Crusty, Team 88, and many others to lengthy to name. You know who you are.

Oh yah….
and the 800+ people who are downloading and following the DIZ Series. I do it for you!
